Sarah Ormandy (she/her)
Barrister & Solicitor
Sarah is passionate about access to justice. She hopes to make the law more accessible for her clients, and use her legal knowledge to benefit her community. She strives to understand the unique needs of each client and approaches their issues with compassion.
Sarah has a Theatre Arts Diploma from MacEwan University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the University of Alberta, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. In her final year of studies, she co-founded and acted as vice president of the Elite Acting LLP Club, a student group designed to uplift oral advocacy through the magic of theatre.
Before joining Bruyer & Mackay LLP, Sarah articled with Legal Aid Alberta and worked at a small civil litigation firm that tackled social justice issues.
Sarah is a performance artist, and enjoys wearing black turtlenecks.
