Jane has a passion for devising creative and personalized legal solutions to address clients’ unique needs. She approaches clients’ issues with curiosity, recognizing the peculiarity of each client’s background. Jane is solutions driven, whether through settlement or litigation – her goal is to devise long-term solutions for her clients. She has court experience at the Alberta Court of Justice and Alberta Court of King’s Bench.
Jane graduated with her Bachelor of Laws from the University of York (United Kingdom) in 2019. She completed her Master of Laws degree at McGill University (Quebec) in 2020. After completing her National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams, she went on to article at a boutique law firm in Grande Prairie focusing on family and divorce matters. She has experience dealing with a wide range of family issues, including parenting, child support, spousal support, family property division, and emergency protection orders.
Jane provides pro-bono legal services to individuals with low income at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association. Jane was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023.
Jane grew up in Nigeria and has lived in the United Kingdom and Canada. She is drawn to the pleasures of experiencing different cultures and interacting with people from different backgrounds. Outside of work, Jane enjoys going to restaurants to try different cultural foods. She is also an avid musician who plays both the piano and acoustic guitar.
